Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational aspects.
• Participate in store inventory procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company protocols.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stock and organize merchandise up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Operate equipment including hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Ability to work with or without accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Efficient cash handling skills.
• Safe operation of equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Compliance with state and local alcohol regulations.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
