Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking and merchandising products, and ensuring the store's overall appearance and cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members and management to uphold ALDI's high standards and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Participate in inventory activities and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Proper handling of equipment and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Capability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Meet local alcohol handling requirements.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
