Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. As a vital part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Assist customers and communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Capable of delivering excellent customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
