Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customer-friendly, and running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the essential competencies outlined for the role and uphold ALDI's professional standards.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
  • Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years to work at ALDI.
  • Proficiency in providing efficient and courteous customer service.
  • Ability to operate a cash register accurately and handle equipment.
  • Capable of performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
  • Meet local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
