Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and other store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical demands such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
