Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandise stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by delivering exceptional service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store-related issues.
- Participate in inventory management processes and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established company policies while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience in retail is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations on alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A blend of education and experience providing similar competencies.
