Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to provide customers with exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues encountered.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Comply with company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and follow instructions effectively.
• Capable of multitasking and working independently or in a team setting.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail preferred.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
