Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will elevate the customer shopping experience through exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean displays, and assist customers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and carrying out assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
- Compliance with state and local regulations on alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
