Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Store Associate! In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindset, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store conditions, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer valuable feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality of data.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash handling abilities.
- Proficiency in operating equipment and following cleaning standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages based on state and local laws.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
