Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers by providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in operating a cash register and basic equipment
• Able to maintain a clean store environment and follow company procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
