Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and maintain orderly merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with all company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
