Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and maintain data security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Skilled in using various equipment like a hand jack and floor scrubber.
- Capable of meeting cleaning standards and following company policies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
