Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock merchandise, lift items up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
• Regularly engage in activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and carrying.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely use equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
