Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience. Collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service will be crucial aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and data confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safe and proper equipment handling
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience
