Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be part of a collaborative ALDI team, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping and provide exceptional service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and other store issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies to uphold security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
