Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and upholding the store's cleanliness standards.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and act professionally in your role.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products and inventory management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- High School Diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
