Job Description
Join the ALDI team as a Full-Time Store Associate, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safe equipment operation
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Compliance with local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
