Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and general cleaning tasks to uphold ALDI's high standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with established company policies while safeguarding documents and data

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capacity to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience advantageous
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
