Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-merchandised, stocked, and maintained. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience desirable.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
