Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
• Complete assigned tasks and additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Work well independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
