Job Description - Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, handling cashier responsibilities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in daily activities.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure well-organized merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with the management team.
• Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to the management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies diligently.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols for documents and data.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 18 for employment at ALDI.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Capable of safely operating equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness to meet company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective in independent work and team collaboration.
• Demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if required.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
