Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be trained in all aspects of running a store efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing staffing needs, developing action plans, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Implement company strategies and values to foster teamwork among employees.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
- Participate in the hiring process and manage employee schedules.
- Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations for staff.
- Manage store payroll, budgets, and loss prevention measures.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on product offerings.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
- Oversee merchandising and inventory control.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in retail and previous management roles preferred.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of retail experience.
- Combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
