Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. This role involves comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for running your store successfully. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will supervise daily store activities, ensure high performance standards, address staffing requirements, manage schedules, and develop operational strategies. Additionally, you will mentor and nurture the team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and budgets efficiently.
  • Monitor local market dynamics and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Provide feedback on product selection and merchandising.
  • Ensure a safe in-store environment for all stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory and conduct reconciliations as per guidelines.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain data confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years for employment at Aldi.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
