We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for the responsibilities of managing a store efficiently. Your role will involve supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing requirements, scheduling, and developing operational strategies while nurturing and supporting the team's growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store activities and team performance to deliver top-quality customer service.
- Communicate and embody company values and strategies to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
- Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain store signage and product quality and freshness.
- Participate in the hiring process and manage employee schedules.
- Establish job expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training opportunities.
- Oversee inventory management and merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and leadership capabilities.
- Understanding of management principles, budgeting, and personnel management.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
- State and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Prior management experience is desirable.
