Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join Aldi as a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee. This position offers a unique opportunity to train comprehensively in store management, learning all aspects essential for successfully overseeing store operations. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will supervise daily store activities, ensure exemplary store performance, manage staffing needs, create operational plans, and guide and develop the team. With an initial wage of $27.50 per hour and potential earnings of up to $101,000 in the first year, this role presents a rewarding career path within our organization.*
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and team performance to deliver exceptional customer service
- Understand and communicate company values, fostering teamwork and engagement among employees
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure effective resolutions
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards
- Participate in the hiring process and manage staff schedules
- Establish job expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training opportunities
- Manage payroll, monitor budgets, and ensure store profitability
- Oversee inventory management, product merchandising, and store cleanliness
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 to work at Aldi
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent customer service skills and leadership capabilities
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Prior retail experience and management roles preferred
