Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi, where you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for managing store operations efficiently. Your role will involve supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing schedules, and developing operational strategies while nurturing and guiding the store team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Communicate and uphold ALDI's core values to foster a sense of teamwork among staff.
• Handle customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Maintain store signage and product quality.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of store personnel.
• Prepare schedules and manage staffing levels.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for team development.
• Manage store budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
• Oversee product merchandising and inventory management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Operational and budget management expertise.
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
