Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

As a Store Manager Trainee at Aldi, you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and performance to provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate and model company core values to create teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolutions.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness.
• Assist in hiring store personnel and managing schedules.
• Conduct store meetings and store inventory counts.
• Provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of retail experience; management experience preferred.
