Job Description
As a Store Manager Trainee at Aldi, you will train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, identifying staffing needs, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while mentoring and developing the team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations and performance to provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate and model company core values to create teamwork among employees.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure resolutions.
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness.
- Assist in hiring store personnel and managing schedules.
- Conduct store meetings and store inventory counts.
- Provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of retail experience; management experience preferred.
