Job Description
We are looking for a Checker/Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for pickup and delivery of cargo, maintaining strong customer relationships, and utilizing up-to-date technology to perform your duties effectively. Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within designated locations.
- Load and unload trailers using appropriate techniques.
- Adhere to assigned duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred.
- Hold a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Demonstrate a stable work record and strong work ethic.
- Maintain safe driving records and pass DOT pre-employment screenings.
