Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of one of the country's leading LTL carriers, you'll play a crucial role in the pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of cargo for our valued customers.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of our consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize forklifts and follow dock worker procedures for loading/unloading trailers.
• Schedule and duties may vary based on terminal locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required (training may be available for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT requirements and drug screening.
