Join our clinical team at Genesis Healthcare as an Infection Control Nurse - LPN/LVN. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers, advocating best practices in infection prevention, control activities, outbreak management, and employee health. This role involves surveillance, analysis, and reporting of infections to ensure a safe environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Act as a resource, educator, and facilitator for staff.
• Conduct outbreak management and surveillance activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote infection control.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Experience in long-term care with management exposure preferred.
