Job Description
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sedgewood Commons. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients and residents. This position offers part-time opportunities for day, evening, and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient nursing care to ensure positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- Conduct patient evaluations, monitor conditions, and report any changes.
- Contribute to care planning and assessments.
- Supervise and oversee unlicensed staff in providing patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing school.
- Current State Board of Nursing LPN license or pending licensure.
- Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by state guidelines).
