Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. As an LNA, you will provide hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offering physical and emotional support in both residential and home settings. Your role will involve building trusting relationships, educating families, and working collaboratively to ensure high-quality care and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House and in their homes.
  • Build trusting relationships based on empathy, understanding, and respect.
  • Educate and support families, providing guidance and comfort.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
