MRI Supervisor - Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a dedicated MRI Supervisor to lead our MRI Team in the Radiology Department. As a Team Leader, you will oversee technical operations, ensure compliance, schedule staff, participate in hiring, and maintain safe and effective patient care practices. In addition, you will play a key role in coaching staff, facilitating collaboration, and providing guidance to ensure departmental success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical and compliance aspects of MRI operations.
• Assist in scheduling staff to meet patient volume needs.
• Participate in the hiring process of new staff.
• Ensure safe and effective patient care through overseeing procedures and workflows.
• Act as an MRI Technologist when necessary.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and collaboration with departmental personnel.

Requirements

• Associates Degree preferred or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
• Advanced certification in MRI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the appropriate modality.
• Supervisory skills/experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
