Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. Our City Drivers are essential to maintaining strong customer relationships as they handle the pickup and delivery of cargo efficiently using up-to-date technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute pickup and delivery tasks to various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using established techniques and procedures similar to a dock worker.
• Schedule and duties may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
• 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training may be available for less experienced applicants.
• Must hold a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Stable work history and strong work ethic are essential traits.
• Clean driving records, both MVR and previous employers' records, are mandatory.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements is mandatory.
