Job Description
We are currently looking for a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers are integral in maintaining strong customer relationships by performing cargo pickups and deliveries efficiently using up-to-date technology and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform timely pickup and delivery of cargo within close proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers following standard dock worker techniques and procedures.
- Adapt to varying duties and schedules based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available for less experienced candidates.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements necessary.
- Strong work ethic with a stable work history.
- Clean driving records and ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical assessments.
