Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Operations Supervisor I at our Denver, CO location within ABF Freight, a trusted leader in the LTL transportation industry. As an Operations Supervisor I, you will play a key role in overseeing the efficient loading and unloading of freight to ensure timely delivery and safety compliance.

General Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals and uphold company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with relevant service center or transportation experience.
• Supervisory experience is desirable, along with knowledge of freight operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a commitment to safety standards.
