Job Title: Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join our collaborative team at Aldi. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience by efficiently operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service.
Position Type
- Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Processes customer purchases, stocks shelves, and maintains merchandise displays neatly.
- Provides exceptional customer service and feedback to management.
- Participates in store inventory counts and adheres to cash policies.
Stocker Responsibilities
- Stocks shelves, rotates products, and maintains fresh inventory available for customers.
- Follows planograms to create well-merchandised displays and operates machinery safely.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store. Stockers should be able to handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
