Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the ALDI team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by operating registers, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Type

Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information.
• Upholds security and confidentiality standards.
• Performs cashier or stocker duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Processes customer purchases and stocks merchandise.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Assists in inventory management and adheres to cash policies.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves and maintains product freshness.
• Creates well-merchandised displays.
• Operates machinery according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail experience is a plus
