Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) specializing in Medical Surgical care to join our compassionate team at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. As a valued member of our healthcare provider family, you will play an essential role in assisting patients with daily living activities and providing quality adjunct care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including meal delivery, turning, and ambulating.
• Provide support with personal hygiene tasks like bedpan assistance, baths, shampoos, and showers.
• Deliver adjunct care such as ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Competency in at least two general areas of practice.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hiring.
• Preferred qualifications include 2 years' experience in acute or long-term care, completion of approved CNA/PCT/paramedic certification, or enrollment in nursing school.
