Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote) to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company committed to transforming the lives of patients. The National Payer Account Executive will be responsible for managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts, ensuring market access for Jazz's portfolio of products. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, leading cross-organizational projects, and negotiating agreements with target payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute market access strategies for Jazz products within assigned Medicaid accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with key individuals in National Accounts.
• Lead cross-organizational projects and teams.
• Negotiate rebate agreements consistent with company guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience.
• Experience in managing Medicaid accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of healthcare, payers, and compliance laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred).
• Experience with specialty products and rare disease drugs.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
