Radiation Therapist

Job Description

We are hiring a Radiation Therapist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position offers the opportunity to work day shifts on a PRN basis, providing radiation therapy services to our patients. Our facility is a 656-bed hospital with specialized centers for burn care, women's health, rehabilitation, cancer treatment, and heart care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in operating simulation machines and all related equipment.
• Perform calculations to determine prescribed radiation doses.
• Ensure accurate localization of treatment areas and maintain reproducibility.
• Assist in scheduling new patients and maintain effective communication with oncologists and physicians.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical degree.
• ARRT Certification or eligibility, with registration required within 60 days of hire.
• Active BLS certification.
• Preferred: One year of relevant experience.
