Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Hemodialysis Department at CVPH, a part of The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Hemodialysis Nurse in our 4-chair unit, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide exceptional care for our patients. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, you will actively participate in the treatment processes, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer hemodialysis treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease management and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Vermont.
- Experience in hemodialysis or a strong interest in specializing in this area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
