Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op unit. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, both inpatient and outpatient, across various service lines. Join our team in the 22-bay prep unit and be part of a level 1 trauma center committed to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to pre-operative patients.
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Vermont.
- Experience in pre-operative care is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
