Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Staff Nurse II, you will deliver professional nursing care to patients at different stages of health and illness by creating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. In this role, you will be an integral part of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, providing direct patient care, education, and ensuring continuity of care post-discharge, while also being ready to handle operational responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and preparation for post-discharge care.
• Possibility to assume leadership responsibilities based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Demonstrated nursing experience.
• Completion of mandated orientation.
• Ability to work at least 300 hours per calendar year, including holiday shifts.
