Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network team at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH). As a Hemodialysis Nurse, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary unit that provides exceptional care to our patients. This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and actively participate in patient treatments.
Unit Description
Our Hemodialysis Department at CVPH is a 4-chair unit that cares for an average of 8 patients daily. Nurses in this unit are required to complete the CVPH Cardiac Arrhythmia Recognition Class within one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to hemodialysis patients.
- Participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary patient care planning.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to deliver safe and effective treatments.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
