Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a member of our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team, you will be instrumental in providing professional nursing care to critically ill patients. Our interdisciplinary approach emphasizes evidence-based practice, quality initiatives, and ongoing research projects.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in varying health conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research projects, and ongoing professional development.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and teaching within the MICU.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Minimum one year of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
