Job Description
ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide skilled nursing care and treatment to geriatric patients in the community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing patient-centered care plans, managing patient discharges, and ensuring the highest standard of care. This position offers the opportunity to work day shift hours, one weekend a month, 2 holidays a year, and two on-call shifts a month in the Newark, DE and surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Develop and implement goal-oriented care plans that are patient-centered.
- Manage patient discharges effectively.
- Be IV proficient or willing to undergo training.
Requirements
- BSN required; ADN candidates must obtain BSN within three years of start date.
- Current DE RN license or compact state license.
- 2 years of HomeHealth RN experience within the last 12 months.
- Previous Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical experience preferred.
