Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatrics team at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing direct patient care, assisting with daily operations, and ensuring the highest quality of care for pediatric patients.

Overview

As part of the pediatric hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplant unit at Levine Children's Hospital, you will play a key role in caring for young patients, including those requiring specialized treatments such as phase 1 trials and MIBG therapy. Registered Nurses at Atrium Health have opportunities for professional growth through the Clinical Nurse Credentialing Pathway (CNCP).

Job Summary

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, managing resources, communicating effectively with team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves performance evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of patient-centered care.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, hold a current RN license, and ideally possess two years of nursing experience. A BSN is required, and professional certification is encouraged within the first year of eligibility.
