Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Pharmacometrics to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this remote position, you will provide strategic leadership in designing, overseeing, analyzing, and reporting pharmacometrics programs for small and large molecule compounds in oncology. Your role will be crucial from discovery through registration and post-marketing phases, contributing to the development of life-changing medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in planning, preparing, and reviewing pharmacometrics-related drug development plans and regulatory filings.
  • Apply model-informed drug development principles for optimal decision-making.
  • Mentor, supervise, and develop a high-performing pharmacometrics team.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, foster network partnerships, and ensure highest standards in deliverables.
  • Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a subject matter expert in interactions with regulatory agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in evaluating potential in-licensing candidates and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences or related field with 12+ years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated success in regulatory interactions, drug approvals, and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analyses using tools such as NONMEM and R.
  • Global regulatory understanding and experience in managing collaborations with external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Preferred experience in oncology drug development.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $220,000-$330,000, with additional benefits including an annual cash bonus, equity grants, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan, and flexible paid vacation.
