Senior Mortgage Lender

Job Description

Civista Bank is looking for a talented Senior Mortgage Lender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, promoting the Bank's services to the real estate community, and addressing the financial needs of our community. As a key member of the team, you will embody Civista Bank's mission to enhance the financial well-being of our stakeholders and make a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to solicit first mortgage and home equity loans through various referral partners and community engagements.
• Meet with customers at different locations to facilitate loan applications and provide necessary support.
• Inform clients about bank underwriting guidelines and relevant regulations.
• Research and stay updated on new legislation affecting residential lending policies.
• Participate in special credit programs and community activities to promote the bank's services.

Requirements

• At least five years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of banking industry practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
